St. Aloysius-Canticle Café
St. Aloysius is situated in a widely diverse area of downtown Detroit. We work with all of the people in the neighborhood to address needs of companionship, food, clothing, and emergency shelter. We also focus on the critical needs of the tenants of many low-income housing buildings in the area. Our parish nurse works to address the Health and Wholeness issues within our community-at-large. Recently, the physical plant of our Community Center had to close. We now attempt to provide all of these services in a smaller fashion — on the streets and in the community housing areas. This ad gentes style of ministry means we are now more focused on going to the people, rather than them coming to us.

St. Christine Christian Services
The mission of St Christine Christian Services is to help meet daily needs of some of the most vulnerable in the Brightmoor community of Detroit, assisting everyone with deep respect and dignity. We do this by serving meals two days a week in our soup kitchen, distributing bags of groceries from our food pantry, and operating a warming/cooling center where we serve coffee and donuts five days a week. We also provide use of computers for email, job searches or personal business. We also provide periodic healthcare such as flu shots, blood pressure screenings, dental care, and foot care. Finally, we distribute fresh produce from our garden behind the office center.

St. Patrick Senior Center
St. Patrick Senior Center has been improving the quality of life for seniors in Detroit for over 30 years. They are dedicated to enabling seniors to live rich and independent lives by providing a wide range of services, activities, and classes, as well as the support of a caring community.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
