Despite the unusually warm weather in Detroit, Mittens For Detroit was still able to collect thousands of gloves this weekend from our friends at ACO Hardware, the UAW, Girl Scout Troop 40302, Luge-O-Lympics and many more who have done collections on our behalf. Thank you to all who have continued to contribute. These gloves will be distributed to our partner charities on November 1, 2012 and give us a great head start to keeping our friends and neighbors in Detroit warm this winter.

The 2nd Annual A Night of Giggles and Gloves benefiting Mittens For Detroit will be Saturday March 24 at the MGM Grand. Bar opens at 7. Doors open at 8. Tickets on sale 2/27. We will be announcing comedians when tickets go on sale.
