Looking for a wonderful midsummer event to help warm hands of children and adults in Detroit next year? You can dance the night away for a good cause – Mittens for Detroit. Moonlight & Mittens Gala will be a fun and relaxed evening, as you mix, mingle and enjoy yourself while helping to provide new warm gloves for Detroiters in need next winter. Join us on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 6:00pm-11:30pm.
This semi-formal event will take place at Loretta’s Dance Boutique & Ballroom for an evening of festivities, including a strolling dinner, dance lesson, silent auction – as well as dancing, of course!Moonlight and Mittens is a semi-formal event with a Black & White theme, so we kindly ask that you join us in wearing black, white, or a combination of both. Tickets are limited, so buy yours today! You don’t want to miss this fun and affordable charity gala that will surely be a night to remember.
“Not only it is a great time to bring awareness for cold hands when most people aren’t thinking about it, but it’s always great to get dressed up, learn something new and get some exercise for a great cause,” says Jason Heien, Mittens for Detroit Board of Directors member and co-coordinator of the event along with his wife Bekah Heien.
